Dockboards & Dockplates
To get you the right dockboard or dockplate, we would like to know a few things:
1) What is largest height differential from dock to truck you will have?
2) What is the usable width you would require?
3) What is the heaviest load you will transfer over the dockplate or dock board?
4) What type of traffic will go over your dockplate or dockboard - pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, electric forklifts, or gas/propane forklifts?
The 14% grade height differentials listed are for pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks and electric forklifts and the 19% grade height differentials listed are for gas/propane forklifts. Gas/propane forklifts can go up higher than pallet jacks and other equipment due to ground clearance.
Remember you can always contact us and we will be happy to help.
